There’s lots to do within a short drive, and Rhyl is also reachable by off-road walks along the river. The park overlooks the river and sits close to Rhuddlyn village and the castle. Caravans are spacious and clean, and the site has a launderette, clubhouse bar, regular entertainment, a children’s playpark, and helpful staff. Aldi is next door for budget food shopping, and the premier inn offers discounted dining, including free breakfast for kids.

The owners of the static caravans are an incredible group, and there’s a lovely community among them. But poor site management has pushed many owners into the difficult, painful financial choice to leave. Over the last 12 months (2024-2025), the place has declined badly from what was once a clean, friendly site. There’s no warden, security is hit and miss, and inadequate drains have caused sewers to back up, leaving caravans unable to use showers or flush toilets. Reception staffing is patchy, and people renting aren’t given the information they need. Some don’t even know which van they’re renting.

There are plenty of events and the clubhouse is decent. It’s a great site, but you’ll want a car if you plan to go exploring beyond the campus.

There’s plenty to do, and public transport to nearby places is plentiful. The site is clean and tidy, entertainment is good, and the staff are very friendly.
