The room was spotlessly clean and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Sue and Richard made us feel very welcome at Strawberry House. We’d definitely recommend it.

Breakfast had good choices and was well cooked. Sue and Richard are lovely hosts, and we’ll definitely stay at Strawberry House again. It’s literally a 10 minutes walk into the town centre.

We were in town for a family gathering and stayed 3 nights, 6-8 March 2023. Sue and Richard were very welcoming, and our room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and cooked to perfection. The roadside parking wasn’t a problem. We’ll certainly book again and recommend it to others.

Sue, Richard and their charming dog, Pepper, gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. Strawberry House B & B was an outstanding choice for our family getaway, better than even 4-5 star hotels in our experience. The rooms exceeded our expectations and could rival those in high-end hotels. Breakfast was delightful, with fresh, delicious options. I had eggs Benedict every morning. Our stay became even more memorable because I proposed to my girlfriend at their Air B & B, a special request Sue, Richard and Pepper will surely remember. Thanks to all three of them for accommodating it and making the occasion so special. We’re already hoping to return for our Anniversary, if there’s availability.

Richmond has so many lovely walks and great places to eat. We especially liked the tapas at Number 29 Ale House and Gin Bar, La Piazza and Edwina’s cakes. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer. This was another fabulous stay at Strawberry House, which feels like home. Sue and Richard are the most welcoming hosts, and they do the best breakfasts 😋
