Hotel Victoria

The rooms are a good size, well equipped and en suite. We had a sea view, which was lovely across the bay. There is parking behind the hotel, and if that's full, they provide a QR code to display so you can use the public car park opposite. After visiting Robin Hood's Bay many times over the years, this was our first stay at the Victoria Hotel. It's easy to reach, perched at the top by the road into the village, with fabulous views. Inside, it feels more spacious than it looks from outside, with two areas for sitting and chatting or having a drink. The atmosphere was great, the bar was nice, the restaurant had a decent menu and the food was good. There's also a good wine list. The hotel was clean and lively, with friendly vibes, and we really enjoyed staying here. Our compliments.

We had a great room with Elemis products, our own parking space and a place to sit outside. The food was great too, and the staff were fabulous. A special mention for Jayne in conservatory dining and Michelle at reception, who made us feel so welcome. We came for the Bank Holiday weekend, usually renting a cottage, but tried the hotel because its owner also owns our local Hotel in Lincoln. We'd highly recommend the staff, food and location, and we'll be back. 👍

The building has lovely period character and is nicely decorated, and the rooms are comfortable and a good size, with decent en suites. Breakfast is cooked to order and was very good, with a cold buffet available as well. Dinner was also very good quality, with plenty of choices. There is private parking at the rear. I stayed for three nights while in the area for a wedding, having flown in from overseas. All the hotel staff, including those in the bar and restaurant, were polite and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and there are several interesting places to visit nearby, along with lovely Robin Hood's Bay.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Victoria Hotel, which I'd booked as a surprise for my husband's 60th birthday. The sea views and outlook over Robin Hoods Bay are breathtaking, and the hotel sits in a gorgeous location. The staff, food and service were exceptional. We went in February, when the weather wasn't suited to spending much time outside, so we're planning to return in summer and enjoy the terrace and outdoor space more. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend a visit. 🤩🤩🤩
