Inn On The Wye

Joanne was so friendly behind the bar. We stopped in for a drink and meal today, and the beef madras was lovely. The pint of butty bach was perfect. Recommended.

We’ve just had a really well cooked Indian meal for two, and the food was great. The owner was friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Prices were very reasonable. We’ll likely come back, or pick up a few dishes as an authentic Indian takeaway. Well done to everyone.

We came back at the end of September, as promised, and booked a room and table about a month after our first visit. Check-in was easy, and our chalet room was clean and had everything we needed for us and our two dogs. The price was spot on. The food was the main event. We had tender lamb chops, onion bhaji, a nicely spiced beef madras, excellent butter paneer, rice and butter naan. With several drinks, it came to only £75. We liked the inn so much that we went back every day for lunch and drinks over the next three days. Great place, spot on service and friendly staff. Keep up the great work, Amit. We’ll be back. On our first visit about a month earlier, we’d had drinks in the sun and chatted with the owner, who was a lovely guy and recommended his Indian food. We couldn’t eat then, but said we’d return. I’m a person of my word!

The food was good quality and well priced. I had a lovely meal with my daughter and granddaughter. Just a shame the play bus was out of action. Highly recommended.
