We were two full adults and one full dog, and the place was very dog friendly. They even brought out chopped beef for the dog. The Sunday roast was great, with really nice gravy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Good value too.

We liked it enough to come back twice, once just for coffee and another time for a proper lunch or meal. It’s a lovely, simple pub-cafe with friendly staff, good food and prices that are quite reasonable, on the cheaper side, actually. Right in the centre of this lovely little town. Definitely worth a visit 😏

The roast dinner was absolutely stunning, and the service was superb. They even brought the dog some beef while we ate.

The bar feels a bit dated and tired, but the Sunday dinner was so good and the staff were really friendly and helpful 👍

A nice atmosphere, lovely friendly staff, plenty of drinks to choose from and reasonable prices. It’s in a perfect spot for enjoying Rothbury. Couldn’t ask for more.
