The apartment is comfortable, well furnished and works well for self catering, with excellent WIFI. It’s right in the middle of Rothbury High Street, handy for shops and eating out. There are three pubs, a cafe and a fish and chip shop nearby, and the co-op next door is useful. Its frequent deliveries can be noisy, as can people sitting outside the pub directly below the apartment. There’s lots to do, with many good walks starting right from the doorstep. Cragside (National Trust) is well worth a visit, and Alnwick Castle and town are a short 20 minute drive away. The coast is about 30 minutes by car, with lovely beaches and Alnmouth and Holy Island close by.
