I stayed over the weekend for an event at the NEC, and the staff were all lovely. The breakfast team made me feel welcome and right at home. Breakfast itself was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options. My room was smart, clean and spacious, with an exceptional bathroom, lovely amenities, a big bath and a rain shower with great water pressure. It was right next to the airport, but I heard nothing on either night. I’d really recommend staying here.

The reception staff were very nice, which was the only good thing. At £170 a night, I’d expect water in the room. We opened the fridge and found strawberries left by the previous guest, and the air conditioning seemed to do whatever it wanted. I’ll stay at a different hotel next time.

It’s perfectly located, just a few minutes’ walk from the airport, and the hotel has its own drop-off area so there’s no need to pay for premium set-down. The lounge and restaurant are modern and spacious. We had a snack when we arrived and then dinner, and the food was good. Our king room was big, comfortable and very clean.

There’s no parking here, so use NCP. The terminal is just a couple of minutes’ walk away, making this very convenient for BHX. Check-in was quick and the person who checked us in was very nice. The room was an OK size, with a great shower and all the amenities. Breakfast costs extra and is buffet style, but it was very good. I’d use this hotel again.

I had the best room for me, with a view that my inner child could marvel at. The front of house and back of house staff were lovely throughout, from check-in to check-out. It was also nice to see how another branch operates in a different dining setting. I’d recommend staying here before a flight.
