Primelodge Rotherham

The staff were really lovely and looked after us well. The place was very clean and quiet, and the location was perfect. Our towels were changed daily and the room was cleaned. Excellent, thank you. Highly recommend.

I was a bit worried after reading the Google reviews, but once I arrived I thought they were very unfair. The room needs a revamp, though it was clean, comfortable and quiet, and I'd happily return. I like the motel style because it makes the rooms more private. Staff were friendly, and entering your car registration at reception means you aren't charged for parking. For the price, it was more than worth it. Thank you.

My son and his friend were going to a festival in Sheffield, so we booked two rooms for one night. At £80, it was a great price for our low budget. The hotel is in a business park and a little off the beaten track, but the room was clean and tidy, with an extra door to keep noise out. There was food available nearby, and breakfast cost extra but filled me up for the long drive home. If you're after good, cheap accommodation, I'd definitely recommend it.

Avoid this place. The rooms were dark, damp and smelly, and the bathroom was full of mould. The mattress was on something made from a couple of pallets. The plug sockets were cracked, and the shaver socket in the bathroom made a noise and didn't feel safe to use. You'd get a better night's sleep in a van on the side of the A1. Demolition is the only way to improve it.
