Right near the centre of Rothesay, with a view of the Clyde, Suite 2 was a great place to stay. It was roomy and well equipped, with a small kitchenette and everything for breakfast already in the fridge. The bed was huge and very comfortable, the linen was good, and the large shower room had a power shower.

I could happily have stayed longer just to sit by the window and watch the ferries coming and going across the harbour. I was lucky enough to get the front room at the Boat House Super Suites, and it was very comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast was laid out for me in the little kitchen area each day. The location is hard to beat: shops, cafes, restaurants, hotels, the Castle and churches are all about a two-minute walk away, and the ferry is a minute by car. There’s free on-street parking too. I highly recommend staying at the Boat House Super Suites.

The harbour views and the outlook beyond were super. Sara and "Aunty" Pat were amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous place.

We spent a couple of days here over Christmas and were very happy with our stay. The view was beautiful, the location was fantastic, and we felt really welcome. The facilities were amazing. If you’re after a lovely place to stay, this is it!

Every suite has a sea view, and the place is spotlessly clean with a terrific layout. It’s a fantastic little spot to relax and a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute. Sara was a lovely host, and I highly recommend staying here.
