Whether you're visiting the renowned gardens of Kent and the South East, exploring historic places, walking the local countryside, attending a wedding or family occasion, or enjoying the shops, Danehurst House is a comfortable place to come back to after a full day. Angela & Michael Godbold offer sumptuous beds and gourmet breakfasts, and promise a stay you'll remember. Online reviews average around 4.5 out of 5, so it's a popular choice. Danehurst House is definitely a treat you'd want to repeat.

The accommodation was superb, and the cook made a wonderful breakfast. The House ran smoothly, with great attention to detail and a professional feel, while the lady and her man were friendly and welcoming. I'd highly recommend staying there.

We first came across this restaurant by chance after Masala on the Pantiles closed, and now wish we'd found it sooner. Grove Hill Road isn't as nice a setting as the Pantiles, but the food, service, and atmosphere are hard to beat. It can get noisy when big groups arrive, but we're glad it's popular and hope it doesn't close like Masala did. Good value, too. Visited in May 2014. Value 5/5, atmosphere 4/5, service 5/5, food 5/5.
