I booked just an hour before arriving and found a little gem. The staff were lovely and polite, and the food was amazing. Breakfast was just as good, with the best poached eggs I’ve ever had, don’t tell the wife. The room was clean, the bed really comfortable and the shower great. I’d give it ten stars if I could. Thanks to the staff.

Dinner here really impressed me. I had venison salami, followed by the special chicken curry, and both were delicious and very filling. The ale I tried was fresh, there was a good beer selection, and the atmosphere and music were great too.

We stopped in for a quick coffee and a hot chocolate for the kid. Both drinks were delicious, and the coffee was really, really nice. It felt warm and cozy inside, with a beautiful scenic view outside. There were no other guests when we visited, though I assumed the weather might be why. Prices were a little higher than at ordinary coffee shops.

After our long hike up Ben Nevis, the generous, tasty breakfast pack was perfect for refuelling. We had a great stay at The Stronlossit Inn, with genuinely welcoming service from staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful. A lovely place with real hospitality.
