The Aberlour Hotel

The restaurant was really good and the staff super friendly. I loved the atmosphere, though there was a bit of street noise, and the bed was small.

Kelly and Alice were lovely people. All the contestants on Four in a Bed came across as the most gracious group I’ve ever seen on the series.

The friendly staff and great customer service stood out, and breakfast was a filling, welcome surprise. The hotel is well located for getting to the area’s distilleries. Our room felt cramped, though, and the walls were so thin we could hear everything around us. You really can’t hide what you’re doing in there. We were on the roadside, and trucks kept us awake into the late evening. If we came back to the area, I’d probably stay somewhere else, mostly because of the noise.

My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch, and there was a great choice on the menu. The man from Middlesbrough at reception and serving was a real asset.
