Buttercross Bed and Breakfast

The cafe next to the cottage was cosy, and the staff there were friendly. They brought breakfast right to our door, which was a nice bonus. We had both a full breakfast and poached eggs with avocado, and the ingredients were excellent and everything tasted delicious. The cottage itself was beautiful and had everything we needed for our five-day stay. One safety issue: the kitchen floor near the lovely cooker is very uneven and could easily cause someone to trip or fall. Highly recommended.

The breakfast had lots of choices and was delicious. Staff were chatty, helpful and very friendly. We spent two nights at antlers bed and breakfast, and were very pleased with our stay. Our room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and two large towels each.

A friendly local B&B, and a good place to stay. Our room was clean and tidy, and the staff were great. Just be aware that the stairs to rooms 3 and 4 are narrow in places and quite steep, so those rooms may not suit everyone.

There was a good selection of hot drinks, though no Nescafé Original. I stayed in a cosy room at the top of the house, and everything was clean and tidy. It's an old building, so watch your head around the low spots. I didn't find them a problem.
