Breakfast had plenty to choose from, whether you wanted continental food or a full English, and the town centre and cathedral are both under five minutes away on foot. We’d booked their most basic room, but it had everything we needed and then some. The owners had clearly thought through the little details, and the room was cleaned immaculately.

Elaine was lovely, and breakfast was very good. Those were the positives. The rooms were quite run down and need work, and the shower in one of them didn't work. We'd booked two rooms for two nights and were asked to pay the full amount in advance. Our plans changed before we got to Salisbury, so we let them know three days ahead that we couldn't stay the second night. We asked several staff members to speak with the manager or owner, but were told nothing could be done. I assume that was Dave. They kept 30% of the second night's cost even though we couldn't stay. I've travelled for work and holidays around the world for more than 30 years, and this has never happened to me before. We have a large family in Canada, England, and Salisbury, and I'll make sure they hear about our experience. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone. I've never left a bad review before, but felt I had to this time. Dave, I wanted to talk to you directly, but wasn't allowed to, so I'm writing this instead.

The room was lovely and really clean, and breakfast was fresh and very nice. I was in Salisbury for work training and spent one night at St Ann's. The owners gave me a warm welcome, were very helpful, and suggested places to eat. It's a short walk into the town centre too. I really enjoyed staying at St Ann's and would love to come back.

Michael made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived after a long day of travelling. You can tell he loves the work, and that came through in his gracious hospitality. The breakfast was delicious, with a generous buffet of fruit, juice, coffee and tea, plus made-to-order dishes. We found out Michael used to be a full-time chef, which made sense. The rooms were clean and cosy, though a few updates wouldn't hurt. My partner and I were visiting from the States, travelling from London to Bath and then Salisbury to see the cathedral. The inn we'd booked first looked wonderful online, but wasn't so nice in person. We asked around town and found St. Anns, and were glad we did. It's ideally placed for exploring quaint Salisbury, with the gorgeous cathedral just a short walk away. We'll definitely stay at St. Anns next time we're back. A truly delicious experience. Cheers.

Getting into the property was easy with the owners' detailed instructions. We let ourselves in, went to our room, and were met with beautiful period furniture, plus a charming bathroom. In the morning, there was a splendid cooked breakfast that felt almost humbling. This stylish, comfortable period B&B is just a stone's throw from the city, and Churchill Gardens, where the local park run takes place, is a gentle stroll around the corner.
