We had a generous spread of complimentary food and drink waiting for us, and all the amenities were provided. It’s a lovely place. The one thing that held the stay back from perfect was the lack of Wi-Fi, which feels pretty much expected these days.

The owners have another holiday home on the property, so both cottages could work well for two couples. Our cottage in Landrake was beautiful, with everything we needed in the house. The owners were welcoming and had carefully turned the historic building into a lovely place to stay. There’s a small shop or supermarket in the village, plus a local pub serving bar meals Wednesday to Sunday.

Landrake is a historic village with a small shop and a cozy pub serving bar meals. The house is well maintained and equipped, and its central Cornwall location makes it handy for exploring. There’s another holiday home available to rent on the same property.
