A cosy little pub, especially with the open fire going. The food was really good, better than I expected from pub grub, and the other seven guys with me had no complaints either.

The food is miles better than what you'd get at your usual local pub. We had scallops, kind prawns and fish goujons with lovely crusty brown bread, and the special beer on tap was a treat. It's a proper, characterful pub, from the decor to the chef and bar staff. At 8pm on a Tuesday it was quiet and cosy, with candlelight, then it picked up around 9:30 when local farmers arrived. They were all nice. City princes and princesses may not find it their thing, but I reckon it's a real hidden gem.

I've been coming here for years. The seafood is lovely, probably some of the best you'll ever get.

Even though it's near the road, the restaurant was quiet. The staff were delightful, and the seafood was fresh, authentic and cooked with love. I'm a fisherman who's hard to please when it comes to seafood, but we'll definitely visit again.
