The food was the real surprise here. I’ve eaten at some high-end places over the past couple of years, and “Who’d have thought it” is better, simple as that. Some flavours were outstanding. My sirloin was cooked the way the chef wanted it, and that turned out to be spot on, with sides that had loads of flavour without overpowering the steak. I honestly think a professional critic should review this place, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a Michelin star in its future. The drinks are reasonably priced, and while the food isn’t cheap, it isn’t expensive either and is worth every penny. From the moment my wife and I came in, we felt welcome. The man behind the bar seemed so kind, and all the staff were relaxed but attentive. The younger waiters and waitresses were fantastic. If my kids carry themselves like that, I’ll be a happy dad. The pub was clean, charming and lit just right for a cosy feel. Go and enjoy this fabulous find.

It was a nice outing with family or friends. There were very few people in the pub, the service was good, and there was a fair range of food. I really enjoyed my cod and chips, and the others in our group liked their food and drinks too.

I had the smaller Sunday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The roast beef was perfect, the vegetables were amazing, and the service was excellent. It was great value too. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

The squid was amazing, the belly pork was cooked perfectly, and they make a proper pie, not a bowl of casserole with a pastry lid. The cheese board was spot on too. We had a lovely evening at The Who'd, sharing great food with friends. It was a little pricey, but the quality made it worth every penny. I even got Russ to try Rattler cider with tequila. We’ll definitely be back soon.

The setting in lovely St Dominic comes with stunning views when the weather cooperates. We had a family dinner and, as always, the food was lovely. There’s a good range for vegetarians, fish eaters and meat eaters, plus plenty for kids. The draft ciders and ales have a good selection too.
