A lovely walk up the hill takes you to a wonderful pub. The beach is just three minutes down the hill, with its own walkway from the property. Definitely coming back.

We stayed in chalet 128 and had a great experience with the owners from start to finish. They answered all our questions and even helped us book the ferry. Dogs and kids are welcome, and I’d highly recommend staying here.
There aren’t any amenities on the holiday park, just chalets and broad grassy areas in lovely scenery, which our guests enjoy. Yaverland Beach is about a five-minute stroll away, and the Island’s coastal path runs alongside the site. It’s set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with ocean and countryside views. Wildheart Animal Sanctuary, Browns Golf, Dinosaur Isle Museum and Sandham Gardens are all within easy walking distance. Follow the seafront for less than a mile and you’ll reach the busier part of Sandown and its traditional pier. The old building mentioned in an earlier review is a historic part of Yaverland Fort, now converted into attractive apartments.
Our Airbnb chalet was clean, practical and nicely decorated with a seaside theme. It had a double bedroom, a smaller room with bunk beds, plus a kitchen and a bathroom with a bath and shower. There’s parking close by, and dogs are allowed. The site has no shops or clubhouse, which suited us fine, and the beach is a five-minute walk away.
It’s in a great location, and the little place has plenty of potential if it were looked after. Unfortunately, it was really dirty and smelly when we arrived, with poor maintenance.
