We stayed at the Wighthill last year and absolutely loved it. The hotel was quaint and cosy, and our room was really big. It felt like a second home while we were there. The lady who greeted us was very nice. If we choose IOW for our holiday again, we’ll plan to stay there this year :)

We stayed in one of the bungalows this year, and it was lovely, with all the amenities you could want and a comfortable bed. We’ve been coming to the Wighthill every year for many years, and I can’t speak highly enough of the place or the people. Di and Mark are perfect hosts and make sure you have a great stay. We’ll keep coming as long as they’re running it.

Diane and Mark made us feel so well looked after, and the weather was lovely too, as it often is on the Isle of Wight. The self-catering accommodation was beautifully presented, with tasteful decor, plenty of light and space, and every appliance we could need. It’s in a pleasant part of Sandown, about six minutes from the beach and high street, with easy road access and the station only a short walk away. A really enjoyable stay in very well equipped five-star accommodation. I’ll certainly be back.

The food went down well with every child, which is quite an achievement with a group this size. This was our second visit to the Wighthill Hotel, accompanying 28 schoolchildren aged 10 and 11. The staff did everything they could to make each person feel welcome and were incredibly helpful throughout. It’s a lovely hotel, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year.

The outdoor seating spot is a lovely sun trap, and the beds were comfortable. We had a really relaxing stay at the Wighthill Hotel, with very clean rooms and a great breakfast. The owners were so welcoming, and their knowledge of places to visit and attractions nearby was invaluable. I’d happily recommend it to anyone coming to the Isle of Wight.
