Corner Cottage was quiet and felt secure, and it’s only a five minute walk into the town centre. I stayed there with my dog. The place was spotless and had all the equipment I needed. It was hot, and the host thoughtfully brought over a fan without me having to ask. I’d happily stay again on a trip to Sax.

Flint Cottage was spotless, and we slept comfortably in the beds. My mother and I had a lovely stay and plan to return. The cottage is beautifully furnished, with lots of storage and more than enough dishes, glasses, cutlery and other things you might need. When the DVD player gave us trouble, the owner came straight over to help. One thing to consider is Freesat: Freeview has relatively few channels in Saxmundham, and the television didn’t have the ones my mother likes to watch.

The cottage itself was fairly nice, and the area was okay. I didn’t find the owner very pleasant, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
