The hosts were wonderful, left us a gorgeous welcome hamper and were on hand to make sure the stay was memorable. The Spa Chalet has beautiful decor and every home comfort we could want. We came for three nights, though everyone wished we could have stayed longer. The views over South Bay are gorgeous, and watching people from the balcony made us feel like celebrities. Local people often stopped to say hello and showed interest in the building. It's dog friendly too, so I might book again with my four-legged friend. Thank you ladies.

Breakfast on the balcony was a lovely way to start the day in the beautiful weather. Amanda and her team were attentive and helpful throughout. The Spa Chalet was beautiful, with comfortable bedrooms and everything well equipped. Its dining area is a wonderful social space with great views, and the cosy lounge has a TV, books and games. This was my third visit, and it didn't disappoint. My fellow guests loved it too. I can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you Spa Chalet!

We felt relaxed, special and very welcome at the Spa Chalet. Amanda kept in touch so everything would be just right. It was a happy, comfortable and fun week right in the centre of Scarborough, with plenty of time to remember good days gone by and a surprise family visit for a special birthday. A wonderful, memorable holiday, thank you!

The Chalet was such a beautiful, cosy and comfortable home, with room for everyone and spectacular views. We had a lovely birthday celebration with family in November 25, sharing a special time with the people we love. Even the weather couldn't spoil it. We couldn't have picked a better place. Thanks to Amanda, Emily & Amy.

The view across South Bay is probably the best ever, and the sunrise was lovely. You can park right next to the chalet, and while the furnishings and old building have a pleasant, musty, dated feel, the utilities are all modern and work well. The downside is the very steep stairs, making luggage awkward to carry up or down, unless you push it through a downstairs window. Finding the access road is also very tricky.
