Weston Hotel

We go to Scarborough for a music festival each summer and had tried a few places before finding The Weston. We wouldn't choose anywhere else now. The hotel is gorgeous, well appointed and spotless, and our room was comfortable with everything we needed. What made the stay especially good was the team: everyone we met was friendly, polite, professional and efficient. Breakfast was delicious too. We're looking forward to coming back next summer and would highly recommend it.

We came over from Canada to see family and chose The Weston for lunch last Sunday to celebrate my Mum’s 83rd Birthday. We were greeted warmly and offered a cosy seat by the fire while we waited for the rest of our group. The hotel is beautifully decorated and spotless, and the staff were polite and friendly. My letdown was the potatoes: both the mashed and roasted ones seemed not to be the real thing. As someone from Yorkshire who loves potatoes, I was very disappointed, especially with a menu that isn't extensive. We only had lunch, so I can't comment on the rooms. From the rest of the place, though, I'm sure they'll be beautiful.

The breakfast was lovely, and the staff were warm and helpful. I had a clean, well equipped room with a comfortable bed and a view of the sea. A lovely stay.

This was our second time at The Weston, and it belongs among the very best places we've stayed in Scarborough over the years. Luke is a first-class host, relaxed and informal, though it's clear he keeps things running well. Every staff member was a good choice: they all had personality, and none let the place down. The hotel feels immaculate, warm and welcoming. We booked dinner, bed and breakfast, and that was a good call. Both meals were superb. Breakfasts were generous and high quality, and dinner at "Cecil's" was just as good. I believe Andrew is the head chef, and he can cook. Ashley and John were brilliant too, with plenty of personality. We can't name everyone, but thank you all. Luke, keep doing what you're doing. We'll be back.
