Cosgrove Inn

Room 8 was clean, modern and fresh, with a very soft bed and a great night's sleep. It had an en suite, an extra bed and a kitchen area with an oven, hob, sink and microwave. The owner was welcoming and polite, and does a great job running this B&B. For the price, it's a real gem. Breakfast is served from 8-9am on weekends. We arrived at 8.30 and found cereal and fresh orange juice; a full English was also available, and was nice. WiFi is available, with the code in the room, and there's plenty of customer parking around the back. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely return. Thanks for a great stay.

The rooms were clean, looked recently renovated and were good. Still, the stay was interrupted by noisy guests, and a front-facing room gets noise from outside too. When we were heading out for a walk into town, police officers rang the front doorbell and tried to get in to search for someone who regularly stayed there. We also waited outside for 15-20 minutes because someone had to drive over and let us in, despite having warned them in advance when we'd arrive. In the end, it was OK, but no more than that. There's no reception, and you shouldn't expect service from the staff.

I've lived here since September 2023 under emergency housing, with my 1-year-old. We've been locked out four times because nobody told us when the room code had changed. I called the number provided over and over, but got no answer. Once Chris, the code service, wasn't replying, I knocked on the landlady's door to get into my own place, and she had a go at me, even though I was home at a reasonable time. She's very rude, and I really don't recommend this place.

The room was lovely, clean and really comfortable, but the TV didn't work. I called to ask if someone could fix it, and was told nobody would come out on a weekend, so we had no TV until we bought our own aerial. Music from other rooms was loud and disturbed our sleep. I won't stay here again.
