The Buckle Seaford

The breakfasts were among the best we've had while travelling, and we never left a bite behind. We spent five nights in the spacious Horizon room, furnished with taste and fitted with the modern comforts you'd expect from a five-star hotel, including voice controlled lighting. The details have all been considered, so it feels relaxing and comfortable. Jason, Julie, Helen and Mum, along with the family, made us feel welcome and were keen to make the visit memorable. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a unique and restful stay.

The coastline views from the rooms are superb, and everything is finished to a really high standard. Julie and Jason are attentive, funny, friendly people. It's a luxurious B&B and a fantastic place to stay. I love coming here.

We were glad we booked two nights here. With just three rooms, the place feels calm and welcoming. The modern interior is clean, and guests have a separate entrance, staircase and dining area, all thoughtfully laid out. Jason and Julie are warm, genuine and hard-working. You choose breakfast the night before, and ours was excellent. There's a fridge honesty bar with beers from a local brewery, plus another fridge with fresh filtered water. Every room looks out to sea, where we spotted yachts, water skiers and, in the distance, the Newhaven to Dieppe ferry. Guests can borrow beach chairs or a kayak and enjoy the view from the water.

Such a lovely treat for a seaside break. The rooms are beautiful, and the location is wonderful. They've put a lot of care into making guests comfortable, and it's definitely worth staying.
