We loved the easy self check-in, and the owner was just a phone call away if we needed anything. The location is great, within walking distance of the harbour and places and pubs to eat and drink. The room was clean and bright, with everything we needed, a good-sized TV, a great shower and fluffy white towels. There was even a downstairs room with a table where you could sit. The tea, coffee and hot chocolate selection was excellent, and the fridge had real semi-skimmed milk in sachets. Little things matter! If we decide to make the five-hour trip again, this is where we’ll stay.

I wasn’t sure about booking a room without breakfast, but it turned out really well. The room was roomy enough for the two of us, and the en-suite was spacious. It covered the basics we wanted: cleanliness, a good bed and a good shower. Communication was straightforward, and the instructions arrived on time as promised. I didn’t need to contact the owner, but they’d provided a mobile number. The allocated parking was free and worked perfectly. Being about a minute’s walk from the heart of Seahouses meant we could choose where to have breakfast. We tried the coffee bar across the road and Trotters, and both were excellent. The coffee bar’s bacon and haggis breakfast roll was yummy. The road was quiet until the Co-op delivery around 7am, but it really wasn’t a problem. I’d happily stay again.

The location is really handy for Seahouses amenities. We had a great two-night stay, with a comfortable bed, an excellent shower and some of the best bath towels.

We were feeling rough after food poisoning the night before, so we asked whether an early check-in was possible. The cheaper room we’d booked wasn’t ready, but the lovely lady helped us out by moving us to the self-contained unit for the night. It had a lounge where we could rest, a bath to soak in and laundry facilities to wash our clothes. The service was incredible, and the place is in a perfect location with big rooms. What goes around comes around, so I’m posting this in the hope that you support this woman and her business. She deserves it. Thank you.

Andrew was available if we needed anything, though we didn’t have to contact him, and booking was so easy. The guest house is beautiful and clean, right in the town centre. The modern rooms were immaculate, and there’s a communal dining room downstairs if you need it. A real pleasure to stay, much nicer than a hotel and perfectly placed in town. Thank you, we’d book again without hesitation.
