Breakfast was a proper hearty start before heading out to hike the mountains. We had a lovely couple of nights at the Cumbrian Lodge, with local amenities nearby. Everything was clean and tidy, and the welcome was warm. It was nice to sit and have a good chat over breakfast.

We really appreciated the extra travel tips, and had a great stay. The owners were friendly, the accommodation was excellent, and breakfast was lovely. There’s free parking and WiFi too. Highly recommended, thank you!

Breakfast was a highlight every morning, easily among the best we’ve had. The hosts were warm and attentive, and made us feel at home. The B&B itself was charming, spotless, and very comfortable. We’d highly recommend it for couples or families.

I stayed for two nights on a business trip and was greeted warmly by helpful, friendly staff. The breakfasts were great, and I enjoyed the background music too. I’ll recommend that my company uses this place instead of the one we stayed at previously in Seascale. Thank you.

The area was so peaceful, with a relaxed feel, and the beach is only a five-minute walk away. It has soft, clean sand, which was great for a few days by the sea with the kids. We also enjoyed hiking, with lakes, waterfalls, and Scaflle Pike nearby. Angela, the friendly owner, welcomed us, shared a little about the area, and showed us to our cozy attic room. It was clean and recently renovated, as was the bathroom, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. We had a great time.
