Beer is a charming seaside village, and it felt like a peaceful escape from the bank holiday crowds. We loved sitting on the quiet terrace and looking out at the sea, then heading out for lovely walks and wonderful sea dips. The annex was just the haven we both needed for a few days. We arrived during a heatwave, so the air conditioning and all the high-spec fittings felt especially luxurious. Perfect stay.

We had a relaxing few days and really liked being able to stroll into Beer for a drink or something to eat. The accommodation was modern, clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to explore the surrounding area. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to unwind.

Sea Holly House was such a beautiful, cosy place to stay, even in winter. We had some rain, but the sunshine that broke through made it feel magical. The view of the stars from the hot tub with all the lights off was unforgettable. We would love to come back. Beer to Branscombe beach was a great walk, and we stopped at Sea Shanty Beach Cafe for food. If the Smoked Hadock Chowder is on, I highly recommend it. Breakfast at Tide in Seaton was amazing too, and Lyme Regis is also beautiful and easy to reach. The house itself is stunning, with incredible views, and it felt special from the moment we arrived. We couldn't recommend it more as a relaxing retreat.

We had a wonderful winter stay at Sea Holly House. Even when it was cold, wet and windy, it didn't spoil the trip, and we were lucky to get some sunshine and clear skies. Listening to the waves and stargazing from the hot tub was just perfect. The sound of the sea throughout the day, especially at night, made the place feel so peaceful. Cherie and Mikey have made the house beautiful, with thoughtful details throughout. The open-plan living area was great for spending time together, and the well-equipped kitchen opens onto a cosy lounge with a TV and a great music system. There are also pool and ping pong tables. We had everything we needed and more. You can tell how much care has gone into making guests feel at home. Beer is lovely for slow wanderings through narrow streets, independent shops and cosy pubs. At sunset, the beach glows, and you can paddle, look for shells or just watch the sky change colour. It really encourages you to slow down and enjoy the simple things. There's plenty to do nearby. We had breakfast at Tide in Seaton, then visited Lyme Regis for the shops, a seaside walk and a few too many 2ps in the arcades. We also took the undercliff trail from Beer to Branscombe Beach, with a little cave climb and fantastic views, and finished at Sea Shanty beach café. The food was incredible and the staff exceptionally friendly. Sea Holly House is a special place. We'd happily recommend it and return.

We were a group of ten, four adults, two teenagers, two pre-teens and two dogs, and used both the main house and annexe. Everyone had a great time, dogs included. The pool table, ping pong table, trampoline and hot tub kept us busy throughout our stay. Mikey and Cherie were wonderful hosts, and we'd love to return. Sea Holly House is gorgeous, spacious and finished to a very high standard, with lovely details everywhere. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, living areas comfortable, and bedrooms beautifully presented. The mattresses and bedding were excellent, so everyone slept well. Each bedroom has an en-suite or bathroom, and there are thoughtful touches like wireless phone chargers. The huge mirrored wardrobe in the hallway gives you plenty of storage. The location is great, about a 10-minute walk to the pebble beach, with a couple of lovely shops nearby. We had a Sunday roast at the Anchor Inn overlooking the beach. The staff and food were lovely, portions large and prices good. We highly recommend Sea Holly House.
