The Old Sheep House

We were 15 people of all ages, celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday with our children and grandchildren. Everyone was comfortable, and the place felt luxurious. The hot tubs were a big hit, and the owner couldn’t do enough for us. The views in the North Yorkshire Dales are breathtaking. I highly recommend it and hope to come back soon.

A lovely garden for the kids to play in and feel safe, and the hot tubs were great too. The house was just right for 15 of us celebrating our parents’ wedding anniversary. It’s comfortable and well equipped for a big group, with countryside walks nearby or an easy walk into Settle for shops and cafes. We’ve already booked to come back next year.

Jack was friendly and helpful the whole time, quick to answer questions and made us feel looked after. I was surprised with this beautiful home for my hen party, and we had an incredible time. The views are breathtaking in every direction, with a big garden and two hot tubs in a peaceful setting. Inside, it’s stylish and welcoming, and has everything you could need. The large baths and rain showers felt luxurious, while the spacious living, dining and kitchen area worked perfectly for our group and all our activities. We had the Sound Therapy Alchemist come and do a sound bath, and the space was ideal for it. I couldn’t have asked for a better hen weekend setting. Gorgeous place all around. Jack, the owner, was so helpful. I’d happily recommend this place. We stayed at the Old Sheep house for a hen weekend, and there’s loads of space, with comfortable seating, a good sized garden and outdoor furniture. The catering equipment is spot on, with plenty of everything, and the beds are comfy. The bedrooms are a good size too, though a mirror in them would be useful. There are two hot tubs.
