The staff were attentive and the service was great. I went for Sunday lunch with two dining companions. I'm vegetarian and usually steer clear of nut roast, but it was the only vegetarian choice on the Sunday carvery menu, so I tried it. It was delicious, beautifully presented, and the best Sunday roast I've had in a pub. I'd happily order the nut roast there again. My companions chose pork and lamb, and both enjoyed their meals. We all had dessert too. I was glad to see Pavlova on the menu, and it was delicious. I'd recommend a visit if you're in the area.

The pub had a great feel, busy and welcoming, then quiet through the night. We were there for the coldest four nights of the month, but the whole place, including our room, was toasty. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order in a cosy dining room. The hospitality tray was well stocked, the shower was the best I've ever had, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. I can thoroughly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

We first stopped in for a drink this weekend, then looked over the menu and decided to stay for a meal. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food beautiful, and the staff very accommodating. The prices seem reasonable for the quality, and it's now our favourite pub in Settle. Looking forward to coming back in March.

It's one of the area's best pubs, and being family run makes a difference. We didn't stay overnight this time, though the rooms are fantastic, but we did eat and the food was amazing. Everyone was warm, friendly and welcoming. Hope to visit again soon.

The pub was busy but had a warm, friendly feel, and I had a pleasant first meal there. It's a traditional spot in Giggleswick village beside the church. Parking was a bit of a nightmare because the pub car park is tiny and already full, though there are a few spaces on the lane. I'm gluten free and they were able to accommodate me. The young lad serving us was helpful, friendly and polite. I chose the lamb, and it was cooked perfectly, so tender it fell apart. I'll be back soon.
