Gareth and Wendy made us feel so welcome, with lots of lovely touches, and the breakfast was amazing. Appley Lodge is an outstanding bed and breakfast, with so much more to it. We've just come back from three nights and would highly recommend it to everyone. There really is no better place to stay in the Isle of Wight!

Our room, Room 3, was spotless and large, and Gareth and Wendy were brilliant hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was lovely, and the location was perfect, with the old town within walking distance. The only downside was the en-suite shower room, where my 'chunky' husband found it hard to move around. I'd 100% recommend this B&B.

We had the best weekend possible at Appley lodge on our long weekend break. Gareth and Wendy made us feel welcome with great conversation and recommendations for places to visit. The room was beautiful and breakfast delicious, and we can't wait to come back next year. A big thank you to them both for making us, two people who struggle with meeting new people, feel so comfortable. It really was home from home.

Wendy and Gareth were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The whole B&B was spotless, and the attention to detail was second to none, right down to a needle and thread if needed and bottles of water in the fridge, a silent one! Breakfast had a large selection and was all perfectly cooked, especially the poached eggs. Everything was excellent. We'll definitely return. Well done, Wendy and Gareth.
