Eastmount Hall Hotel

We had a really nice two-day stay, and the kids loved spending time in the swimming pool. Breakfast was good and the staff were very nice. The furniture and bunk bed felt a little old and could be better, but we enjoyed the experience and I’d recommend the place.

We booked four nights and already can’t wait to return to the Isle of Wight. Eastmount Hall hotel is now our only choice for a place to stay there. The staff are amazing, all very friendly and ready to help. Breakfast is tasty, with a simple but sufficient choice. They remembered our dietary preferences too, so the next morning milk, for example, was already on our table without us having to ask. The heated swimming pool is a great extra. Brilliant customer service all round.

I’m not usually much of a breakfast person, but I tried it on our last day and really enjoyed it. There was a nice mix of hot and cold food. The pool was a great bonus on the warmer days, and the bed was so comfortable. The place was delightful, with friendly, helpful staff who clearly care about both their guests and the hotel. We’ll definitely return. Thanks for such a lovely stay! ❤️

Eastmount hall had the rustic, countryside feel I wanted, without being too modern. The building shows its age, but everything works well and was clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely and a great start to the day. Staff were warm, polite and friendly. The location is handy: Shanklin station is about nine minutes away, and the beach and seaside restaurants are a walk of around 15 minutes. There’s also a coastal path along the beach. I booked directly through the hotel website and got the best deal. We were welcomed with complimentary cream tea at check-in, a really kind English touch. Just a couple of small snags: it would be nice to have liquid hand wash, and the door was a bit hard to lock.
