We stayed for one night, knowing when we booked that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovation. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the pristine bathroom had everything we needed and more. Steve was an excellent host and cooked breakfast to order perfectly. We couldn't have asked for more, though a couple more nights would have been lovely. Good luck with the renovations, Steve. We WILL be back, hopefully. Mike and Jacquie Bravery (Somerset)

We're currently here for a seven-night stay on the island, and the keates green hotel is the perfect spot. It's clean, warm and inviting, and Steve, the owner, is a really friendly guy who makes a blooming fantastic full English breakfast. He's started renovating this charming hotel to bring it back to its former glory after years of neglect from the previous owner. So far, he's doing a sterling job. Keep up the great work, Steve. We'll definitely book at the keates again on our next trip to the Isle. Very happy customers 👋

The manager is a star, and the location is brilliant. I heard things were problematic here a few years ago, but it's lovely now. I can't wait to come back and see how it develops!

Breakfast was included, but the options were very limited and didn't meet my expectations. The stay was okay overall, though. Service felt average and could have been better.

The guest room was spacious and impeccably maintained, and the location is great, near the sea, local pubs and lovely walks. Service was high-standard, and breakfast was above satisfactory. The bedroom door wouldn't lock from inside. I told the proprietor, who said they would deal with it. The hotel is great overall, and I'll certainly stay again.
