A lovely little find for a cosy getaway, and a great base for exploring the Lake District, close to Penrith and Kendal. It's a tastefully done barn conversion, with a super-comfy bed and a particularly sophisticated bathroom and kitchen. Highly recommend.

We had a great breakfast, and the lounge with its warm fire was a nice place to catch up with other coast to coast walkers. The room was gorgeous and huge, with comfy chairs and a beautiful bathroom.

Warm and cosy, with an AMAZING room, this was the best place I stopped to rest on the Coast to coast. They got all my things washed and dried, and I had a great night's sleep. The owners are such lovely people. Thanks again for taking my last-minute reservation, you saved me from a very uncomfortable, wet night and I really appreciate it ❤️

Having a bathroom set aside for each room worked really well for our group. We booked the whole building for a long weekend with friends, and it was just what we needed. The sauna was a great feature, and we also enjoyed the hot tub, which was an added extra. The dog loved exploring the garden for most of the day.
