The restaurant service was spot on, even though the young blonde-haired woman serving looked really busy. She didn’t let that show in her work and made sure everything was right. The receptionist was lovely too. We had a laugh when I accidentally replied “you too” after she told me to enjoy my stay.

There was no toilet paper when I arrived, but staff sorted that quickly. They were friendly, and the room was comfortable with a great shower. The restaurant happened to be closed during my visit. I also heard quite a lot of road noise overnight, as the room didn’t have much soundproofing.

The room had a bit of a musty smell, but the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. This was my third Premier Inn in a week, and this team really stood out for service. The breakfast ladies couldn’t do enough for us. I think one of them was called Jayne.

We turned up late at Premier Inn Spitfire with our two children and realised we’d accidentally booked the wrong room type, not a family room. Kate was amazing: she changed the booking straight away and even made up an extra bed herself so we could all be comfortable. Her kindness and professionalism took the stress out of the situation. Thank you, Kate, for turning our evening around. We’re so grateful for your help and lovely service.

The restaurant was the letdown. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated while two staff members ignored us, and it was expensive, so we’d be better off eating elsewhere. The rest of the stay was very nice. It’s easy to reach from the M6, with plenty of parking, a quiet setting and only a 10-minute drive to Stafford town centre. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfy.
