Weston Hall has a lovely mix of old character and modern elegance. The 16th-century building, tall roofs and landscaped gardens make a beautiful setting, and there are plenty of photo spots, from characterful rooms to sunny gardens. I can capture candid moments and more traditional portraits here, and couples will have pictures to treasure. I photograph weddings at Weston Hall, and it’s always a pleasure. The staff are friendly, professional and attentive from the first enquiry through to the last dance. They help with menus, styling and entertainment, and take care of the details so couples can enjoy the day. The catering is another strong point, with delicious food, thoughtful presentation and menus that suit the venue. The spaces work for both large formal weddings and small, relaxed gatherings. You can have ceremonies and receptions indoors, with the gardens there for picturesque moments too. The team, food, gardens and flexible spaces make this one of Staffordshire’s standout wedding venues. Photographing a day here is always a joy, and the memories we make together stay with you. We chose Weston Hall for our wedding stay and booked two nights. The listing showed breakfast included, but we were charged extra at checkout. That wasn’t made clear beforehand, so it felt like false advertising. The showers were also very basic and old-fashioned, not up to standard.

I got afternoon tea as a birthday present, and it was one of the best I’ve had. The food was lovely and the staff were attentive. Highly recommend x

The bar and restaurant were great, and we enjoyed our short stay. Our room had no heating on when we arrived in winter. We switched it on, but after half an hour it still wasn’t working. Staff apologised and brought a small electric radiator, though it barely helped. On the way to dinner I mentioned it to another staff member, who quickly brought a second radiator that did the job. The plumbing was incredibly loud, almost comically so, the loudest I’ve ever heard. Despite those issues, I’d recommend the place.

The staff at Weston Hall were extremely polite and gave excellent service when we visited for Christmas Afternoon Tea last week. We had a lovely festive tea while Metz Jnr sang his hits and lots of Christmas singalong favourites. Such a fantastic way to kick off the festive season. We’ve already booked for next year!
