The bar was lively with locals, and we had delicious freshly cooked pizzas there. Staff were so helpful and accommodating, and breakfast by the window looked out onto a picturesque street. Our clean, lovely room gave us a good night’s sleep, even though it faced a roundabout. We found the road wasn’t disturbing. It’s an easy place to reach from the M6, with straightforward parking at the back and the cafe, bar and rooms upstairs. Our bedroom was at the top of the house, with no lift, but the stairs weren’t too bad even for my arthritic knees, IYKYK. If rolling hill views are what you want, this isn’t the place. We’d use it as our local if we lived here, and can recommend it for an overnight stay.

The breakfast was excellent, and we all slept really well in the lovely beds. Four of us stayed on a Saturday night for a wedding nearby. The pub and staff were excellent, and our rooms at the top of the house were clean, comfortable, well appointed and had everything we needed. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.

The staff are so friendly, and nothing ever seems like too much trouble. It’s a fantastic bar and coffee shop, with great coffee and lovely surroundings. A perfect place to take a break while out and about in Eccleshall.

Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of good options, and there was a nice atmosphere. I was surprised by how big and good quality the room was. It was on the top floor, and there was absolutely no noise from the busy bar below. Definitely would stay again.

Right in the middle of Eccleshall, The Little George is a great base for exploring the town, its pubs and places to eat. This was our second stay while visiting family nearby, and it didn’t disappoint. The rooms are big, well equipped and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay.
