We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, and the fish, chips and mushy peas were piping hot and gluten free. My husband is GF and I’m not, but we both thought it was lovely. We stayed one night to see a show at the theatre. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean, with nice toiletries in the bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. We can highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at the lunch party for my father’s 87th birthday. There were 31 of us, a mix of ages, with a couple of dietary requirements, and the hotel team were amazing from front of house through to the kitchen. The dishes arrived beautifully presented, tasted wonderful and offered lots of individual choices. Nothing was too much trouble. The whole team deserves congratulations for the quality of the food and service, and for keeping the smiles coming throughout.

The atmosphere in the main dining room was excellent, and the table service was better than we expected. Dinner for four of us tonight, 6th Feb, was excellent. Every staff member we dealt with was effective, professional and confident. Please pass along our thanks for such an enjoyable dinner tonight. 🙏

That free car park behind the hotel is a lifesaver, and The Swan’s location is fantastic. I always enjoy staying here on business trips. The food is great and the staff are all extremely friendly. On 26/02 I had a great meal, with Carla as our waitress. She was very attentive and likeable. Thanks for your help.

We had a lovely dinner at the swan, with cozy atmosphere and excellent food. Our servers, Lewis and Lily, were attentive and wonderful with our toddler. There was a small issue with our order, but they fixed it immediately and were extremely accommodating. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!
