ibis budget Sheffield Arena

WiFi worked well, and the staff were a big help. Sachin quickly found me a hair dryer. My only small gripe was that the pillows could have been comfier.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, with cereal, pastries, toast and hot or cold drinks. Our basic room was clean and had what we needed for the night. We picked this hotel for its easy arena access, just a minute on foot, and the nearby tram stop made getting to Meadowhall simple. The welcome was friendly, check-in quick, and we could use either the stairs or small lift to our fourth-floor room. I'd stay here again for another arena show.

We had a good couple of nights here and slept really well in the soft, comfy beds. For a budget place, it's my favourite so far, and the rooms don't feel like a prison at all. The reception area is nice, with tables where you can sit, eat and chat, plus toilets downstairs. There are stairs and lifts, though the lift doors take a little while to open. Well worth the money for us, and I'd definitely recommend it 😍.

Second visit, and I'll definitely come back. The room is basic but has what I need. Staff and service are excellent, and the location worked perfectly for being near the arena.
