The village is lovely, with Damflask reservoir beside it and the wonderful Plough pub just across the road. The cottage is a fantastic place to stay, modern and comfortable now, though the photo book really shows how much work it took to transform it from a black hole. Nearly all the visitors' book comments end with “we'll be back”. I'll be back too.

We really needed this little escape and had an amazing break. The quaint cottage is tastefully decorated and has spectacular views, with a lovely pub right across the road. It caters for everyone, and I wished it were my home. We'll return.

We stayed for 10 days in July 2018. The owners were lovely, the decor was great, and it was spotlessly clean in a brilliant location. I really can't praise it enough 👍👍

The owners were very helpful and replied to questions super quickly. The renovation is beautiful, with modern, tasteful touches while keeping the original building's lovely features. Excellent!

A lovely country pub, with large open fires and a nice garden. It's dog friendly, and the outdoor space is great, with a bouncy castle for the children.
