Tom cooked a top notch breakfast, and the lovely old manor house made for a real period drama sort of stay. It’s a comfortable B&B in a genuine 16th/17th century house, with a wonderfully comfy bed. Tom was a lovely host, made us feel welcome and shared the building’s history. I’d definitely recommend it. Thank you very much.

We came because our friends’ band was playing at a local pub, and were so glad we chose this place. The house is full of history and charm, and the hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. Our characterful room was very clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for a brilliant night’s sleep. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Highly recommend.

Breakfast felt like being at a friend’s place, and Tom and Fran were good hosts. The house is full of old bits and pieces, which suits its old manor house feel. There were quite a few cobwebs, though maybe they’re part of the atmosphere. I had a few room issues, but I was paying under £100 a night to stay in Shepperton, so I overlooked them and mentioned one when I left. Thanks, both.

It was lovely to see how Tom and Fran have kept the building’s history in mind since taking over about 4 or 5 years ago. There are so many original features that it feels like stepping back in time. The place is gorgeous, close to Heathrow but in a really quiet spot, which was perfect. Our room was spotless, and the huge bed was exceedingly comfortable, probably a super-king. The tea and coffee facilities were great, and the cold bottle of water and bowl of ice were a nice touch with it over 30c outside.
