Dorset Holiday Barns

A beautiful barn in a fantastic setting, and a great base for our summer holiday. Everything was there for an exceptional stay, and more. Book it, you won't be disappointed. Thanks again Ian and Alison.

The barns had everything we could need, and were very clean and homely. A brilliant place to stay in Dorset, close to several lovely south coast beaches as well as plenty of restaurants and entertainment venues. There's also lots of information about local places to visit and events to go to.

We felt right at home here. The house was spotless, warm and comfortable, especially the beds. It was very well equipped too, with kitchenware, appliances, games and entertainment for the kids, and everything we needed.

We stayed at Meadow View Barn for the last week of August, a family of five with two teenagers and a nearly three-year-old, for a relaxing break before school started again. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed to feel at home. Even the dishwasher at home gets called one of the kids! Ian sent a really comprehensive guest guide by email, but I missed it at first until the very lovely Ian pointed it out. We had a couple of lovely walks to the park down the road. Local amenities aren't especially close, though it's only a ten-minute drive, and a bit of holiday travel is part of the adventure. My husband and I found the bed very hard, but that's just personal preference and didn't affect our rating. While we were there the dishwasher showed a fault. It wasn't a problem for us, but I messaged Ian and he was there like a rocket to fix it, even though I'd asked him not to rush. If you want to feel valued, this is the place to stay. We all loved the “connect 4 advanced” game under the telly. It's so challenging that I'm going to buy one. Thanks to you both for a wonderful family break. :)
