Our waitress was brilliant, especially with my Nan, who talked about how sweet she was all the way home. There were six of us for Mother's Day lunch, and we were all happy with the starters and mains. The food was excellent, and we had a great bottle of red to go with it. Everything was spot on. We’ll definitely be back!

The refreshed setting looked fantastic, especially after we hadn’t visited in a few years. Our waitress, who I think was called Analise, was warm and attentive, and helped so much with my dietary requirements. She also chatted with us about the renovations. Dinner was one of the most memorable meals we’ve had in 15 years. I chose the hake, perfectly cooked and the standout for me, while my husband’s rich venison made a lovely contrast. We started with the squid and mushroom parfait, an elegant, well-balanced dish. Thoughtful service and outstanding food made for a special evening. Thanks to the chefs and the whole team.

I drive past several other pubs to visit the Queens Arms because its friendly service and top-notch food beat the others for me. I love coming here. I haven’t stayed in any of the rooms, but I’m sure they wouldn’t disappoint. Definitely worth a visit!
