The place looked pretty dodgy when I first arrived, and the area didn’t help. Inside was a different story: it was impressive, really clean, and had plenty of facilities. It’s basic but comfortable, and I’d definitely stay there again if I’m contracting in Nottingham.

Room 5 made for a rough night. The bed was old and noisy, and the boiler was in the room making noise too. The shower was an experience as well, with only a pull across screen separating it from the kitchen. There’s just one toilet, and the breakfast bar seats two, so if every room is occupied you might have to raffle off turns to use the facilities.

Is this place meant to be a halfway house for smackrats?

The owners are idiots.
