The hosts made us feel so at home that breakfast turned into a two-hour chat. They’re passionate about what they do, friendly and easy to talk to, and took time to get to know us. That was the icing on the cake at what is by far the best B&B I’ve stayed in. The location is peaceful and feels like a proper escape; the nearest village, with restaurants and shops, is about 15 minutes away. It’s also a great base for seeing Shropshire and North Wales. Every detail had been thought through. The decor is comfortable, quirky, stylish and inviting, and everything was spotless and smelled fresh, from the towels and sheets to the furniture. The Molton Brown goodies were a lovely extra. Breakfast was cooked perfectly with quality produce. I’d recommend staying here 100%. Thank you both, can’t wait to visit again!

We’ve already booked another stay for next year after our second visit to Upper Home Farm. It’s so peaceful, a real break from the rat race. The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable and the welcome warm. The furnishings were high end, and the silent fridge had complimentary water, wine and milk waiting for us. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were there too, ready for the kettle. Breakfast was amazing: I had a full English, delicious and not greasy at all, and the smoked salmon was the best I’ve had. The hosts were lovely and couldn’t have been more accommodating. I highly recommend it.

The countryside views and wildlife were a real highlight. Sitting and watching and listening to it all was so relaxing. Stefan made sure my weekend stay went perfectly, from meeting me on Friday afternoon to seeing me off Sunday morning. Breakfast was fantastic, fit for a king. The accommodation and attention to detail were top standard: a TV, mini fridge, kettle and complimentary provisions, a warm room, a very comfortable sleep and no background noise. I’ll definitely book again and hope to bring my wife to enjoy the scenery and the approachable hosts.

Our three nights here were a perfect way to finish the holiday. We left relaxed, chilled and very happy, and can’t wait to come back. The rooms are beautifully appointed with thoughtful extras, and the hosts are helpful without being intrusive. Breakfast is optional, but have it, it’s cooked to perfection. Best B&B experience by far; nothing to fault.

We had a brilliant stay: a lovely suite, really friendly service and a superb breakfast. Just our kind of place. Thanks, Sue and Rob. We’ll be back when we’re in the area.
