We’ve stayed at Evergreen Cottage four times now, and it feels like home as soon as we step inside. Karen and Ray are always welcoming and happy to help make things comfortable. The cottage is spotless and has everything we need, from a cosy lounge and log burner to a TV and good Wi-Fi. Sinnington is a lovely base for walks straight from the door, with the moorland nearby too. Pickering is only a short drive away, and its steam railway can take you all the way to Whitby. Thanks to you both!

The enclosed garden made this a great spot for our dog, and there are forest walks right from the doorstep. We also enjoyed the village common by the nature-rich river, and the honesty boxes on the high street for fresh eggs. The cottage in Sinnington sleeps four and is comfortable, well equipped, and looked after by lovely owners next door. There’s a Michelin-listed gastropub in the village, plus plenty of dog-friendly pubs and restaurants nearby. Cropton and Dalby forests and beaches at Whitby, Scarborough, Filey, and Bridlington are all within reach. A real gem and one of my favourite places to unwind. Highly recommended.

The walks and views were stunning, and we had the best week away with our dog Toby. The cottage was amazing and had everything we could need. We arrived to freshly baked scones, and our hosts were wonderful. Thanks so much for letting us stay. We’ll definitely be back. Love, Tracey, David and Toby the dog xx

We’ve been to Sinnington four times now, and stayed at Evergreen twice. It’s a lovely village with lovely people, and there’s so much to do in this part of the world.
