We’re heading back tonight for our wedding anniversary meal. The pub has a wonderful feel, with lovely features and an open fire, and plenty of old items throughout. The ladies’ facilities are exceptional, with high-quality soap and hand cream. Staff are professional and good natured. I didn’t stay there this time, but I’ll certainly consider it next time. We’ll be back.

We dropped in on a Wednesday evening without a booking, two of us with our well-behaved dog Lola. The staff were attentive and really helpful, and the food was fantastic, with lots to choose from and nicely presented. It’s probably worth booking, as it may be busy during peak season. Thanks for a great evening.

We only popped in for a drink and crisps, but the pub felt so warm and welcoming that we asked about staying there another time. There’s a dog-friendly area, and the lady behind the bar was lovely and even brought water for the dogs. The food other people had looked good too.

We just stopped for drinks and sat outside. It’s a great setting, and most of the tables have heat lamps for when it gets chilly. The pub is in a picturesque village, with a small entrance to the car park but plenty of room to park.

I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t comment on the rooms, even though Google asks me to. The Sunday lunch may have been the best pub one I’ve ever had. Food was excellent, if a little pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion. There’s a nice beer garden, it’s dog friendly, and the staff were lovely. Couldn’t fault it. Nice place.
