Claire and Nick are such a sweet couple, and the rooms are clean with very comfortable beds. My husband and I stayed two nights and enjoyed walking around the Kent countryside. We came across some lovely local pubs and Macknades, an amazing farm shop nearby, which is a must for food lovers! Breakfast was great, with lots of delicious local produce. A stunning place, and we’d happily return if we’re in the area.

We arrived again on 25 June 2019, our tenth visit, and stayed four nights. The garden is still being improved, but we loved it from our very first stay and knew this visit would be great too. We’d also been back in mid-November 2018 for the ninth time, and in early June 2018 for visit number eight. It wasn’t going to be our last then, and it still isn’t. In June 2017 we came for the seventh time and couldn’t get enough of The Old Vicarage. Our sixth visit was in November 2016, and it was marvelous. Claire and Nick are so nice, the ambiance is fantastic, and it’s the best breakfast we’ve ever had. We missed it as soon as we got home. We first found this lovely bed and breakfast earlier, with Claire and Nick as lovely hosts and Mary-Ann helping them so kindly. After four visits, we already knew we’d be back in May or June 2016.

Great dogs, the best breakfast and the nicest hosts. It’s the finest place I’ve ever stayed. Don’t bother looking anywhere else.

The owner is kind and always available, and the place itself is lovely. It’s peaceful and surrounded by nature. Breakfast has a wide choice, including omelets and other freshly cooked food.

The owners and staff are so lovely, and nothing is too much trouble. It’s a beautiful old house, tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was outstanding.
