We loved the sea view, and the room was quiet at night. The hotel puts you right in the middle of the Skegness buzz, close to the arcades and beach, with a lively atmosphere downstairs. We’d have joined in more if we hadn’t had a young child with us. When we arrived, the music outside sounded brilliant. There was a mix-up and we were given a twin instead of the family room we needed, but the owner fixed it straight away and was friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back. Thank you.

The food was really delicious, and the staff were lovely. They brought out a bowl of water for my dog, and they’d set a table for my nan’s birthday, which my mum hadn’t expected. The service was excellent. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to other people. :) :) :)

The two men performing outside were talented, friendly and brilliant to watch. The service inside was a different story. We waited 50 minutes with our hands up while staff came out and seemed to ignore us. After half an hour, a man took our order for two half pints, one lemonade, but never brought the drinks. He then went on to take orders from other customers. We gave up and left, even though we’d have stayed for the entertainment. It wasn’t a complicated order, and the place seemed very poorly run. Such a shame for a pub in such a good spot. I won’t return and would tell others to find somewhere that values its customers.

The manager and staff were very helpful, and we loved our sea front view. We visited in summer, when there was a brilliant party going on outside as we arrived. There was a bit of hesitation around the room arrangements, but once that was sorted we were very pleased.

We were visiting from Bolton and went in on Sunday 9th July for a cavern. The staff seemed disinterested, and the meat portions were really stingy, no more than two slices. Worst of all, all three drinks we ordered for my wife, son and me came in dirty glasses, with lip prints from the previous customer around the rims. It makes my skin crawl to think about it. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’d give it no stars if I could. Stay clear.
