We came to Skegness for a family occasion and spent a few days at The Philmar. Joanne was a wonderful host, and we had a lovely stay. The whole place was spotlessly clean, our room was very comfortable, and the food was great. We could park right outside the guest house throughout our visit. It's an easy walk to the beach and some nice restaurants at a range of prices. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thanks. We'll definitely be back!

The service was friendly and phenomenal right from booking our last-minute stay. I reserved the last two available double rooms the night before, and the next morning they called to offer us the family room to save money. They could have said nothing and left us with the higher bill, so that honesty really stood out. For our three-night stay, everyone was helpful, caring and very accommodating about what we might need. The family room was excellent, with a great-sized bathroom for all our necessities. Nothing was too much trouble. We'll definitely return when they're doing food again.

Joanne made us feel welcome straight away, and nothing was too much trouble for her. Our room was spotless and cosy, and breakfast was just right, especially the proper coffee and PG Tips tea. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back. Thank you so much. Iain & Petra xx

We’ve just checked out after spending the whole week here, and we had a great time. The place is spotless, the location works perfectly, and Joanne is such a gem. We’ll definitely come back.

The owner was so friendly and welcoming. I stayed for a couple of nights and found the guest house really nice, with spotless rooms and a comfy bed.
