The Sandgate Hotel

We had a really nice two-night stay at this charming B&B. Tina and Mick are lovely, down-to-earth hosts who made us feel welcome. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and breakfast was a piping-hot full English with a real sausage. It’s close to town, and I’d recommend it.

We had a lovely couple of days here. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the hosts were really friendly. The on-site parking was brilliant. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The hosts were fantastic, friendly and full of local knowledge if you needed tips about the area or amenities. They cooked a fabulous breakfast each morning, and we’ll definitely return. We found the guest house while looking for somewhere central. It was just right, two minutes from the beach and clock tower, and also only two minutes from the shopping malls. Easy to find, with parking on the grounds. The beds were very comfy, and the rooms had tea, coffee, glasses, plus even a tea towel and sponge for washing up.

Everything was spot on, with no complaints at all. The guest house was comfortable, very central and close to everything, so we didn’t need to drive. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and made our stay comfortable and memorable. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. I’d definitely recommend it.
